Win and Advance
Tournament Bracket Play. Alternative to abusive double elimination and so-called
meaningless round robin play.
WinNAdvance,
Win&Advance, or Win and Advance is a new revolutionary format scheduler for
all types of tournament play. It has been explicitly designed to eliminate the abusive
practices of competing tournament designs and other outdated concepts.
This new format goes directly head to head, and confronts, the overwhelming
advantages imparted by the double elimination tournament format play. It
also renders the so-called meaningless round robin bracket play obsolete.
Every
certified WinNAdvance tournament format features:
 |
No advantage (level
playing field) for every (team) participant. |
 |
No abusive byes,
unfairly awarded to teams in the winners bracket. WinNAdvance byes
occur in the losers bracket. |
 |
Only One (1) Championship Game final,
regardless of the number of team entrants. To hell with the double
elimination insanity. |
 |
Match-ups of teams that have achieved
the same number of victories. |
 |
The highest assurance that the two
best teams will meet in the finals. |
 |
The same number of
games-to-be-played, or less, as compared to double elimination or round
robin/single elimination designs. Costs are
maintained. |
 |
The ability to accept any number of
tournament teams from five (5) to eighty (80). |
 |
Elimination of any type of scheduling
tampering innuendo. Other formats have inbred scheduler temptation
that is abusive and overwhelming for schedulers to avoid. |
 |
A new concept where that every game
played counts toward a championship ... making the concept of meaningless
round robin formats obsolete. |
This unique format promises a significant scheduling upgrade versus single elimination, double elimination and round robin,
bracket or seeding format tournament
designs. Finally a tournament scheduler alternative that is actually wholesome
rather than abusive ... a format that doesn't achieve an outcome prior to
the first tournament game being played ... and it costs, as a donation, only $1,
which will be applied for non-profit beneficial uses!
Nothing
Personal!
This format isn't a one on one argument with anyone. We'd ask that you'd
refrain to arguing with your participants that are still attending your obsolete
tournament. This is an open argument
versus the world ... new concepts and ideas do that very thing. WinNAdvance is not going away. It has been
designed in response to the narrow mindedness of present day tournament
play. What has been done in the past is now obsolete and no longer acceptable.
Before you disregard this content, you'd be better served to open your mind
to a new format, as people, coaches, and organization that support tournament
play ... vote with their dollars. It's only a matter of
time.
